\u00a1Estamos emocionados de anunciar que nuestra organizaci\u00f3n ben\u00e9fica del mes de abril ser\u00e1 LEIAS!<\/p>\n

LEAIS es una nueva organizaci\u00f3n exclusivamente femenina en la Universidad Texas A&M. LEAIS significa L\u00edderes que sobresalen en lo acad\u00e9mico y en el servicio<\/em>Esta organizaci\u00f3n existe para promover el \u00e9xito acad\u00e9mico y ayudar a las mujeres a desarrollar cualidades de liderazgo a trav\u00e9s de actividades de servicio desinteresado dentro de la comunidad animal, la hermandad y los valores fundamentales de Aggie.<\/p>\n

Las mujeres de LEAIS buscan concientizar sobre la importancia del rescate y la crianza de animales. Trabajan para educar a la comunidad sobre el cuidado adecuado de sus mascotas, asegurar que est\u00e9n preparados para una mascota durante una posible crianza y c\u00f3mo funciona el proceso de rescate y adopci\u00f3n de un animal. Las mujeres de LEAIS trabajan con varias agencias de crianza, lo que les permite conectar a quienes est\u00e1n interesados en acoger o rescatar un animal para que inicien este proceso. \u00a1Muchas de las mujeres de esta organizaci\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n cr\u00edan animales!<\/p>\n

La mayor\u00eda de las organizaciones de Texas A&M exigen a sus miembros un promedio general (GPA) de 2.5, pero LEIAS ha aumentado este m\u00ednimo y exige a sus miembros un GPA de 3.0 o superior. \u00a1Qu\u00e9 manera de no conformarse con lo promedio! Para seguir destacando en el liderazgo, LEAIS organiza seminarios de liderazgo abiertos al p\u00fablico donde invitan a mujeres con carreras profesionales sumamente exitosas a participar como ponentes. Tambi\u00e9n ofrecen talleres de curr\u00edculum v\u00edtae, ferias de empleo, simulacros de entrevistas y talleres de \u00e9xito acad\u00e9mico para asegurar que sus miembros est\u00e9n preparados para construir una carrera exitosa despu\u00e9s de la universidad. Estas mujeres tambi\u00e9n se esfuerzan por demostrar cualidades clave como la motivaci\u00f3n, la honestidad, la confianza y el compromiso.<\/p>\n
