However, studies have proven that even a one-time act of thoughtful gratitude produced an immediate 10% increase in happiness and a 35% reduction in depressive symptoms. Unfortunately, the good feelings vanished in three to six months. This reminds us that gratitude is something we should practice often.<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every act of kindness counts.
