KILLEEN, Texas \u2014<\/strong> El bufete de abogados Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers se asoci\u00f3 con el programa Passenger Safety Kids Safe Initiatives de Texas A&M AgriLife Extension y el programa Save Me With a Seat del Departamento de Transporte de Texas (TxDOT) para organizar su tercer evento anual de seguridad de asientos para ni\u00f1os en Killeen el 25 de junio. Este evento gratuito ayud\u00f3 a las familias locales a mejorar la seguridad de sus hijos en los asientos para ni\u00f1os mediante inspecciones, educaci\u00f3n y la distribuci\u00f3n de nuevos asientos de seguridad infantil. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

El evento, celebrado en la oficina de Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers en Killeen, reuni\u00f3 a t\u00e9cnicos certificados en seguridad infantil en veh\u00edculos y a miembros de la comunidad para identificar el uso incorrecto de los asientos de seguridad para autom\u00f3viles, ense\u00f1ar a los cuidadores las t\u00e9cnicas de instalaci\u00f3n adecuadas y brindar a las familias opciones de asientos seguros para sus hijos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante el evento, los t\u00e9cnicos inspeccionaron 48 sillas de seguridad infantil y distribuyeron 35 nuevas a familias de la comunidad. De los ni\u00f1os cuyas sillas fueron inspeccionadas, ninguno lleg\u00f3 en una silla de seguridad infantil correctamente utilizada. Seis ni\u00f1os llegaron sin sujeci\u00f3n y tres llegaron usando solo el cintur\u00f3n de seguridad, lo que subraya la necesidad constante de educaci\u00f3n y recursos en materia de seguridad infantil en veh\u00edculos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
