Four events planned across Texas as Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers continues mission of protection, prevention and family safety

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas — According to the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, the Passenger Safety Project has overseen the inspection of more than 43,400 car seats in Texas, with 99% found to be improperly used, unsafe, or inappropriate for the child’s age and weight. In response, Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers is expanding its annual car seat safety initiative to reach more families across Central Texas in 2026.  

The events will provide families with free certified inspections, hands-on installation training, replacement seats for qualifying families, and one-on-one guidance to help keep children safe on the road. 

The car seat events first began in Bryan-College Station after firm co-founder Danny Daniel became a father. While installing his son’s car seat, Daniel realized how confusing and difficult proper installation could be. 

“When my son was born, I had no idea how complicated car seats could be,” said Daniel. “You assume you just buckle it in and you’re good to go, but there’s so much more to it. Once I went through that experience myself, I realized a lot of parents are probably feeling the exact same way.” 

Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers partners with certified child passenger safety technicians at Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and the Texas Department of Transportation to provide hands-on education and support for families. During the events, technicians inspect car seats for proper installation, teach caregivers how to correctly secure children, and provide replacement car seats to qualifying families when needed. 

The 2026 expansion will bring events to the following locations and dates: 

  • Georgetown — June 24, 2026, 4-6 p.m. 
    • TBD 
  • Killeen — June 25, 2026, 4-6 p.m.

  • Waco — Aug. 22, 2026, 9:30 a.m.-12 p.m. 
    • Waco ISD Stadium, 1401 S. New Road, Waco, TX 76711 
  • Bryan-College Station — Sept. 26, 2026, 8:30-11 a.m. 
    • The Brazos Center, 3232 Briarcrest Dr., Bryan, TX 77802 

“This initiative is really personal to us because it’s about protecting families before something tragic happens,” Daniel said. “If we can help even one family avoid a serious injury by taking the time to check a car seat, then these events are worth it.”
