Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must be residents of Texas and currently enrolled in high school or the equivalent (e.g., GED program). Applicants must demonstrate financial need or hardship and meet the minimum age requirements to enroll in a certified driver education program. Only one recipient per household is eligible per month.

Verification of Eligibility: Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers reserves the right to request documentation to verify residency, age, enrollment status, and/or financial need. Failure to provide requested documentation within the specified timeframe may result in disqualification.

Evaluation & Selection: Submission of an application does not guarantee that a scholarship will be awarded. Scholarships are granted based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of program funding at the time of review. Only one scholarship is awarded per month, with a total of 10 scholarships awarded annually. Scholarships are awarded during the last week of each month. Decisions regarding scholarship awards are final and not subject to appeal. Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers reserves the right to make the final determination on all applications and scholarship awards.

Accuracy Requirement: All information submitted as part of the scholarship application must be complete, truthful, and accurate to the best of the applicant’s knowledge. Submission of false, misleading, or incomplete information may result in disqualification from consideration or revocation of a previously awarded scholarship at the discretion of Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers.

Disbursement & Administration: The Drive Smart Scholarship covers the cost of driver education only. Scholarship funds are paid directly to the approved, certified driving school and will not be distributed to the student or the student’s family. The award applies solely to the basic driver education package offered by the selected school. Any additional costs, including but not limited to upgrades, supplemental lessons, missed classes, rescheduling fees, or other incidental expenses, are the sole responsibility of the student or their family.

Driving School Requirements: Scholarship recipients are required to complete their driver education through a Daniel Stark–approved partner driving school. Students must reside within the service area of the designated partner school and be able to attend in-person classes as required by the program. Recipients located in Georgetown, Texas, and surrounding areas must attend Patriot Driving Academy and enroll in the school’s basic driver education package. Approved partner driving schools are subject to change at the discretion of Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers.

Participation & Completion: Scholarship recipients are expected to fully participate in and successfully complete the designated driver education program. Failure to attend scheduled classes, withdrawal from the program, or noncompliance with the driving school’s policies and requirements may result in forfeiture of the scholarship at the discretion of Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers.

Non-Transferability & Deferral Policy: Scholarship awards are non-transferable and may not be assigned to another student under any circumstances. Scholarships may not be deferred, postponed, or held for future use without prior written approval from both Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers and the participating driving school.

Media & Communications Authorization: With required parent or guardian consent, Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers may use a recipient’s first name, photographs, and/or brief testimonial statements for purposes related to promotion of the Drive Smart Scholarship or related initiatives. Participation in promotional activities is voluntary and subject to applicable consent requirements. Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers may also contact scholarship recipients or their parent or guardian to provide updates or information related to the scholarship program.

Privacy & Data Use: Personal information collected as part of the scholarship application will be used solely for the administration of the Drive Smart Scholarship and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Limitación de responsabilidad: Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers is not responsible for the actions, services, or outcomes of partner driving schools. Acceptance of a scholarship does not guarantee any particular results from the driver education program.

Program Modification or Termination: Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Drive Smart Scholarship program at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.

Parental Consent: Applicants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian review and consent to the application and all related Terms & Conditions. Scholarships will not be awarded without verified parental or guardian consent.
