Mary Beth Friebele, a licensed CPA, plays an essential role in helping Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers operate smoothly while staying true to its mission of serving clients and the community with excellence. She joined Daniel Stark in February 2023, serving as Financial Controller until her promotion to Chief Financial Officer in December 2025.
Originally from Harlingen, Texas, Mary Beth grew up in the Rio Grande Valley near South Padre Island – a beach that still holds a special place in her heart. She later moved to College Station and graduated from Texas A&M University in 2010 with a double degree in Accounting and Finance.
Before joining Daniel Stark, Mary Beth spent nearly 12 years working in the oil and gas industry, where she played a key role in streamlining financial processes and integrating systems during company acquisitions across Texas and Oklahoma. Her passion for building efficient processes and simplifying complex systems made Daniel Stark a natural fit as the firm continued to expand.
What Mary Beth enjoys most about working at Daniel Stark is the people and the culture. She values the firm’s emphasis on teamwork, strong relationships, and core values – especially work hard, play hard. While her role is primarily behind the scenes, she finds the most fulfillment in processing client disbursements and seeing cases come full circle, knowing the hard work of the entire team has made a real difference in clients’ lives.
Outside of work, Mary Beth enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband are high school sweethearts and have been together for more than two decades. They have two children, Bailey and Cameron, and enjoy traveling together, spending time at the beach, and cheering on Aggie sports whenever they can.
