Free School Supply Drive to Provide 600 Backpacks to Waco ISD Students
WACO, Texas — Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers will host a free school supply drive at its Waco office to provide 600 backpacks filled with school supplies to Waco ISD students ahead of the upcoming school year. Supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
According to the National Retail Federation, back-to-school expenses continue to place a financial strain on many families. The school supply drive aims to help ease some of those costs and ensure students begin the school year with essential classroom materials.
“No student should have to start the school year without the supplies they need to learn,” said Spencer Smith, attorney at Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers. “We are proud to support Waco ISD families and help make sure students begin the school year prepared, confident and ready to succeed.”
Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers invested approximately $20,000 to purchase the backpacks and school supplies and has invited community partners to expand the initiative’s reach through additional financial support and volunteer participation.
Pain Specialists of America and ProCare Injury Specialists are among the confirmed partners to assist with volunteer efforts during the event.
“Waco has a strong community,” said Karie Stoker, attorney at Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers. “It’s been great to see local businesses and volunteers step up to support Waco ISD students as they prepare for the school year.”
The giveaway will include 400 elementary school backpacks containing items such as crayons, glue sticks, composition notebooks, folders, pencils and other classroom supplies. An additional 200 middle and high school backpacks will include notebooks, binders, writing supplies and other school essentials.
