Four car seat safety events are happening across Central Texas in 2026!
Join Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, and TxDOT in Georgetown, Killeen, Waco, and Bryan/College Station for free inspections, expert guidance, and replacement car seats if needed.
Trained technicians will teach parents how to correctly install car seats, provide a replacement if needed, and ensure every child leaves safer than they arrived – FOR FREE.
Here’s what you need to know:
- No appointment needed! Walk-ins are welcome and served on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
- While we will do our best to assist everyone, we cannot guarantee all guests will be seen.
- Your child MUST BE present at the event to be fitted for the car seat.
- Expecting moms: If you’re in your third trimester, you may be eligible to receive a car seat at the event.
- All other expecting moms are welcome to stop by with your car seat for one-on-one guidance from our certified technicians. We can help answer your questions, check that your seat is installed correctly, and make sure you feel confident and ready for your little one’s arrival.

Car crashes have been a leading cause of death among children for 20 years, with a child being involved in a crash every 25 seconds.
Properly installing a car seat can reduce a child’s risk of fatal injury by 71%.
Only 1 in 5 parents regularly check their child’s car seat for correct installation.
Since the our first Car Seat Safety event nearly 20 years ago, we have conducted 2,007 car seat inspections, and we cannot wait to add to that total this year.
